To say that this is a loss for British and worldwide fashion is quite the understatement. McQueen was known for his dramatic statement pieces and marvelous tailoring and will be dearly missed.

Scarlett Johansson has designed a handbag for Spanish fashion chain Mango in a charity initiative to aid victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Johansson’s Haiti handbag will be distributed in all Mango stores worldwide from March 2010. All profits will be donated to INTERMÓN-OXFAM, which is helping victims of the disaster.

The Haiti handbag retails at £16.90 and will be exclusively available in more than 1,390 Mango stores.

Scarlett Johansson, who is the face of Mango, has designed a print on the handbag to represent the ancient cartography of Haiti. It contains the message “Supporting the people of Haiti” written and signed by the actress.

Johansson said: “I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Mango to promote conscious consumerism and to benefit Oxfam’s Haiti Earthquake Response Fund. By purchasing this bag, which I specially designed, you are helping to provide life-saving assistance like clean water to the people of Haiti.”

Although it was published in 2006 the book, like any lady of grace and style, is timeless. And don’t worry about being late to read it; you can pick up on whatever the current date is and read right through the year. You may even find yourself wanting to read it over again every year! If you do purchase a copy for yourself, I hope you find it as delightful as I have.

Since then, I’ve made it my business to take regular trips to Broadway and Broome Street (in Soho, New York City), to get my fashion fix. When I first visited Topshop, I literally felt like I was in a dream. It’s one of those places where you’ll find this one piece that you can keep and save forever, and you will never see it anywhere else! If you keep up with runway shows, and are inspired by artistic street style, Topshop is definitely the store for you. It even showcases a line by Kate Moss! I will warn that some of the dresses are made a bit short, and can moonlight as a blouse, over leggings, jeans, or trousers.

Body Lotion or Body Cream? Which works best? It all depends on your skin!

While Victoria’s Secret Hydrating Body Lotion usually seems to do the job for my hands during colder weather, it’s not always the best thing for my super dry legs. Without body cream, I can’t seem to get a good shave in the shower because of how dry and rough my legs get. Sure, more shaving cream helps but it doesn’t fix the problem, and who wants to use an entire bottle of shaving cream in a week anyway?

Victoria’s Secret Ultra-Moisturizing Hand & Body Cream is one of the best body creams I have ever used on my legs. It keeps them super smooth and moisturized. I usually apply the cream before bed so that the next morning I get what seems to always be the best shave of my life.

Body Lotion and Cream can be expensive at Victoria’s Secret if they’re not having one of their great deals. So, for those of you who wish to save a few bucks, I would also highly recommend the lotions and creams at Bath and Body Works. I own quite a few from there and they all work just as good.

Both places have a wide variety of the most heavenly scents, as I’m sure many of you know. Our skin is important, and we deserve to smell beautiful while taking care of ourselves!

L’Oreal chose the lovely Evangeline Lilly to display the work of two very new products that you can now find in stores: the EverStrong shampoo, and Creme Gloss Color. While it isn’t likely that our hair will turn out as gorgeous, smooth and shiny as Evangeline’s, it still might do what the product is said to.
